ACLS is designed for Healthcare Professionals who work in emergency response, emergency medicine, Intensive Care, and other Critical Care settings. Anyone who is required to take an ACLS course or intends to work in a setting that requires an ACLS certification is welcome to attend the ACLS Prep Class. Course Content:

Through didactic instruction and minor hands-on practice, this course will cover two of the biggest key concepts of ACLS training; heart rhythms and ACLS medications.  This includes the following topics:

·         Basic Cardiovascular Anatomy and Physiology

·         ECG Measurement

·         Heart Rhythm Interpretation

·         Arrhythmia Identification

·         Electrical Treatment for Arrhythmias

·         Pharmacology for ACLS Medications

Course Length:  

This course is scheduled to last up to four hours. Class times may vary slightly depending on the number of students and class discussion time, but students should prepare to stay for the entire four hours.
